I downloaded the MSXML 4.0 SP2 and SP2 Hotfix from Microsoft and everything then worked. Im not sure if anyone has encountered this in the 777-200ER (or any 777 for that matter), but on long flights such as KORD-RJAA or KORD-VHHH, after about 9-10 hours, my plane goes into a locked right turn and stops following the programmed waypoints.

It looks like the game needs the MSXML 4.0 dlls installed for x86 and they aren't included in the redistribution or are failing to install as part of the Steam setup on Win 8.1 Pro. Incessant locked right turn in full LNAV/VNAV on 777-200ER during long flights. Just to make sure it is installed, the XML parser should also be installed, it should have been loaded already by fsxĮ:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\Installers It doesn't need to be same folder or anything. Please make sure you install them to the same drive where you have FSX installed. If you can't find them in your directory can you please go to this website, download and install these two files.

I launched ASP4 first, then EF (Sky Force textures already installed and SF not running), then P3D. In Active Sky I selected the ADM Challenge scenario and used the A2A C182. After installing this update, you need to run the EZscloader.exe file from the C: ProgramFiles EZCA3.1 EZscloader folder which will install the new version of simconnect to your system. I did a test using ASP4 vB7070, P3D v4.3, EZCA v3.0.1.68 and Rex EF v.0503. Just double click on the pertinant one for your system, should be 64bit Since version 3.2 we are switching to the version of simconnect '11'.

Sadly, every version I have used after this update on multiple PCs works without a hitch. When they update their software, SimConnect can get changed and impact the connection between our software and their sim. That is a 3rd party utility initially designed for FSX, owned and edited by Lockheed Martin. The 2nd thing to do is install the C++ redistributableĮ:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2005 P3D uses SimConnect to work with TrackIR. There are actually (4) simconnects in FSX:SEĮ:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\libĮ:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces\FSX-RTMĮ:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces\FSX-SP1Į:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces\FSX-XPACK (YOU SHOULD NOT NEED TO INSTALL THIS ONE)ĭTG now includes the install for the xpack since the last update/patch Where my FSX:SE is installed into my E:\ drive Keep in mind these are simconnect.msi files.just double click to install Step 1, Install all the simconnects that DTG doesnt automatically install for you

Make sure your video card drivers are up to date, dont just assume they are, check to make sure This is what i usually have new entrants in fsx attempt initially.įirst make sure you are running steam as admin(fsx requires admin rights for itself, and some addons) Are you starting steam as admin prior to running FSX, this is usually a permissions based issues
